In case you have in your environment VM’s with application that are sensitive to ping loss during a live migration between the hosts in the cluster, you have the option to exclude that machine from dynamic optimization.
This can be done quite simple, you have to go to the VM properties > Actions and there you have a checkbox to exclude the virtual machine from optimization actions.
