Cluster service could not start

I encountered this issue with the cluster service when I tried to rejoin a Windows Server 2016 HyperV host back to the cluster.

I solved it by doing a force cleanup on the host with the issues by running the command Cluster Node “ServerName” /forcecleanup. After that I was able to add it back to the cluster.
