You might get this warning “The number of vSphere HA heartbeats for this host is 1 which is less than required 2” when you build a vSphere Cluster in a homelab environment and you add only one datastore.
To clear this warning, you have two options, either you add another datastore to your cluster or you can add an advanced option in the vSphere HA cluster settings.
For that you have to go on your Cluster Settings > vSphere HA > Advanced Options and Add das.ignoreInsufficientHbDatastore=true By default this is set to false.
