It’s recommended that you go through the exam blueprint and practice everything. If you don’t have a homelab you can use VMware Hands-On Labs.

There are some community resources that I’ve used and that can help you:

Graham Barker VCAP-DCV Deploy 2020 – Exam Simulator – FREE – these are some questions that cover various sections of the blueprint

Jorluis Perales VCAP-DCV DEPLOY – HOL BASED SIMULATOR – FREE – same approach as the one from Graham Barker. Both can be performed in the VMware HOL

Kyle Jenner VCAP6-DCV Deployment Study Guide – as the name specify this is a study guide on vSphere 6 version but still very useful.

Even though these resources are very good, I have to say that the most important thing is your working experience on VMware vSphere. So if you are deploying and configuring vCenter infrastructure quite often and you work on vCenter on a daily basis, that will make it easier for you. This doesn’t mean that you don’t have to go through the blueprint or the simulators, because I’m sure that there are vSphere features that you don’t work with every day.

The exam experience itself was ok and I recommend to be familiar with the VMware HOL UI, because the exam uses the same UI. This exam has to be taken in a test center, no remote option available like you have for the VCP exam.

If you have any questions about the exam, don’t hesitate to ask. Hope you will find this info helpful.

Last Friday I took the 3V0-22.21 Advanced Deploy VMware vSphere 7.x exam and to my surprise the results came in yesterday morning and I passed…

Continue readingVCAP-DCV Deploy 2021 Exam experience

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[1
66,67,51,13,64
post-801","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-general","tag-certification","tag-vcap","tag-vexpert","tag-vmware","tag-vsphere-7","entry
["GET
