The most common event viewer log was &#8220;The cluster Resource Hosting Subsystem (RHS) process was terminated and will be restarted. This is typically associated with cluster health detection and recovery of a resource. Refer to the System event log to determine which resource and resource DLL is causing the issue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I started to troubleshoot the cluster and look for network issues between the hosts,hosts and storage, NIC drivers\/firmware etc and everything\u00a0was good.<\/p>\n<p>In the end I found\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/24717\/windows-8-1-windows-server-2012-r2-update-history\">KB3192404 \u00a0<\/a>which is\u00a0fixing the\u00a0\u00a0virtual machines (VMs) on a Hyper-V failover cluster that causes instability and crashes.
